Figure 3a:

Figure 3b:
1) The rigid HOPKINS®
rod-lens telescope (available in different directions of view) is
coupled to the endoscopic camera system.
2) Right upper quadrant port for retracting the left lobe of the
liver with the liver retractor.
3) Epigastrium above the left hepatic lobe in the direction of
the right coastal arch (port for operating instruments).
4) Similar to position 3, except that it points towards the left
coastal arch and maintains a minimum distance of at least 10cm (port for
operating instruments).
5) Below the coastal arch (port for operating instruments, e.g. a
Babcock grasper for holding the stomach).
